CHANGE.

I'm ready for change.

I'm ready for Summer to be over and Fall to begin. I'm ready for sweaters instead of shorts, adventures instead of home, and new opportunities instead of routine. I'm ready to grow, learn, explore, discover, and find new areas of change in my life.

I don't like stagnant! We just celebrated our first year in our new home, and my soul is stirring for change. My husband would hope it doesn't involve moving, so if I can't change my location, can I change my mindset? It so happens I can!

I started a small LLC a few years ago during the pandemic. I wanted it to be a place of growth, knowledge, learning, and encouragement for others and me. When you have spent four years of your life in textbooks, classroom settings, with a cohort, and working on projects, there has to be something to share. I dedicated this website to that, but I have not been faithful.

Let's be truthful; I'm not one for the longevity of the same old thing! I want change. How do I do that in my life? Well, I can move my home, research new learning opportunities, or change my employment. When I think about being stuck, I have possibilities awaiting me.

My first change is to recommit myself to my small business, What She Said, LLC, and explore teaching and mentoring opportunities outside my normal work routine. I've changed the logo, so why not change the business mindset? It won't run itself.

While I utilize the skills I have learned in education and experience, I must continue challenging my education opportunities while supporting others. Recently, I realized that a young adult in my church is going to England for a year to study marketing. I didn't know this was her passion as I have witnessed her talent in singing and dancing for the past few years and her working in a music department. What I love about this opportunity abroad is that she is looking for future career choices. I must do the same.

Are you feeling like me?

Do you need change? Are you stuck in a rut? Do you need growth? Mentoring? Coaching? Personal leadership development? While this is a shameless (not) plug for my small business, it is an opportunity for growth for both of us. My passion is watching emerging leaders discover their potential and for individuals to recognize that they are leaders even though they might not manage a team of people.

That's a manager, not a leader.
